Specializing in the Treatment of Couples and Individuals Dealing with Infidelity

To feel emotionally unsafe with one’s partner can feel very unsettling and unfulfilling. As a trained Couples therapist and Psychoanalyst, I help a full range of couples see each other through a new lens and reestablish a secure emotional connection where both parties are accessible, responsive, and engaged. I work with couples including romantic partners, family members, and friends or business partners.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) with advanced training in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT). I am also an Instructor and Clinical Supervisor at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, Facts Division of Family and Couples, where my studies focus on Infidelity, Parenting, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. In addition, I lead workshops and provide supervision for couples therapists on Infidelity.

My current work includes helping couples whose relationships are impacted by their struggles with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder with the NYCEFT Veteran Project. Prior to starting my private practice, I worked as an Art Therapist at Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Health and at NY Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center Psychiatric Mental Health Division. To stay current on research and the latest methods, I attend a range of workshops and conferences.

My approach with couples dealing with Infidelity is guided by the model known as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which I consider to be the most delineated and empirically tested couples therapy of the past 20 years. I find EFT to be most successful in helping partners create a more resounding, loving, relationship.
